Month In Review - January 2016
Here we are wrapping up the first month of 2016. I started the year off by changing up the look of the blog a little bit; a fresh look for the fresh new year. I am working on a few behind the scenes blog updates as well, you probably won't notice much of a change, but I will be working on getting a few things a little better organized.
The first post of the new year was a look back at the top 15 posts of 2015. Did your favorite post make the cut?
The next hot topic was my 2016 word of the year; this year I chose "Simplify" and I can already say that I am happy with that choice!
In honor of my word of the year choice this year, I shared how I am keeping my decorating simple and shared this DIY Pom Pom Garland.
I also worked on finishing a few half-started projects, and these farmhouse style pillows that I made from napkins were so easy, and are a fresh winter addition to my home decor.
I love seeing if organizing ideas really are as good long-term as they appear. I revisited the small space command center I created, shared what worked, what didn't, and what I changed.
The month wrapped up with a Create and Share Challenge. This time our group of bloggers partnered with GraphicStock to create a project using any of the graphics from their website. I created some fun Hand Embroidered Dandelion Wall Art.
Thank you to all of you that visited the blog this month, be sure to come back again for more home decorating fun!!
