Kid's Memo Board
After reorganizing the boys' craft and coloring area we were left with a blank space on the wall. The rearrangement also left me with the empty frame that we have used in the past for holiday decorating. (See it in action here and here.)
Here is what I started with: old empty picture frame, 2 squares of cork leftover from another memo board project and some cheery yellow paint.
After a few coats of paint and a couple of days to dry, I glued the cork into the back of the frame.
And here it is fresh and new in the boys' art and craft area of the dining room.
Now the boys have a place to show off their smaller works of art and notes and lists they like to make. What is your favorite way to re-purpose an old picture frame?

Love the dark cork with the bright yellow!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a practical project that's also pretty on your wall. Thanks so much for sharing with this week's Throwback Thursday party.
