Hearth and Hand Summer Collection
By now you have all seen Chip and Jo's Hearth and Hand collections at Target, and if you're like me, you have to make a detour through the store to check it all out. I love Jo's style, and own a couple of items from their collections, but I really try to only buy what I know I will use and love, not just buy something to buy it. This summer Hearth & Hand collection that just came out is super cute and many items can be used all year round.
Here is a round-up of a few of my favorite items, and ideas for using them, not just for the summer, but throughout the entire year.
First, I think I love the Hearth & Hand items because they so easily can be mixed in with whatever your current decor is in your home. You just can't go wrong with black and white, and the gorgeous wood tones that are always included. It makes it so easy to add these to your home, and since they are great basics, you can use them for everyday or dress them up for the holidays or other special occasions.
Let's start with the Wood and Metal Covered Cake Stand; this be a stunning centerpiece for a birthday party, who wouldn't love to see their cake on this beautiful, covered stand? The Steel Beverage Dispenser and Stand would be perfect for summer get-togethers and BBQs, but I also think it would be so pretty for the holidays with a red ribbon tied around it. Simple Enamel Dinner Plates would make a great place setting with a fun patterned plate placed on top, super easy to dress up or down. This Melamine Plaid Serving Tray Set would be perfect for the fall and holiday potlucks, the plaid works great for every season, and since it's melamine, it's also great for outdoor parties too! If you are looking for a fun splurge item for your patio this summer, you have to get this Centennial Rolling Cooler! I mean, how great is that color, and it would definitely be a conversation piece all summer (and fall) long! I love these Acacia Wood Round Footed Tray, they make great additionas to table centerpieces, and the wood tones are just gorgeous! I see this Enamel Mug Set around the firepit on cool summer and fall nights, again a great basic to go with any style. Last, but not least, the Melamine Stripe Bowl Set, which when I saw them, my first thought was, how cute those would be as mini planters! I think they would be great with a little succulent, as part of a window herb garden, or a with a pretty flower for an end of the year teacher appreciation gift!
