This Month's Favorites: April 2018

Wow! Where did the month of April go?! I'm rolling in hot with this late edition of my favorite things since this entire month has gotten away from me. I have been spending a lot of extra time working on my Max & Dot Co. etsy shop with product planning, creating samples, and much to my excitement filling sales orders on my very newly listed signs!! There has been a lot of hard work going on, and to see that people are liking what I am creating is very exciting, and very encouraging!

Now on to the reason you are here, my April favorites:

This Month's Favorite Things - April 2018 - a must-read book, favorite t-shirt, custom wood sign, and outdoor lighting to update your exterior

1. Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis - Ok, I haven't finished this book yet, but it is awesome and I don't want to put it down! This year I am really drawn to books that are all about empowerment and positivity and finding the motivation to do the great things that you are drawn to do. If you feel like you could use a kick in the pants, you need this book!

2. Be Thankful Always Raglan Tee - I am living in raglan tees right now, they are so comfy and I love the casual relaxed look. This is one of my all-time favorites from my etsy shop!

3. Custom Family Name Wood Sign - This is one of my new wood signs, and I just had to include it because it's my new favorite piece of wall decor right now. The gold lettering on the last name is such a fun accent and looks so good with the stained wood tones.

4. Hampton Bay Outdoor Light Fixture - These outdoor light fixtures add instant curb appeal and a little farmhouse style charm. Our builder grade outdoor lights were less than awesome, so switching them out for these was like a mini facelift for our exterior! (We picked ours up at Home Depot.)

5. Philips Dusk to Dawn Light Bulbs - Of all the random things to include in my favorite things list, light bulbs have got to be towards the top, but guys, these are awesome! To go along with the new outdoor light fixtures, we also switched up our regular light bulbs to these LED dawn to dusk bulbs that have a sensor right on the bulb to make any light auto on/off. Cool right?!

I would love to know what books you are reading right now! Let me know in comments what I should be adding to my reading list!
