10 Deck and Patio Decorating Ideas For Spring and Summer

Who here is ready to get outside and get some outdoor decorating done? I am so ready to get out and get my planters filled with new flowers and plants, and really (*hopefully*) put some effort into making our deck and patio a welcoming place that we want to hang out.

With that in mind, I have gathered some great ideas for decorating your outdoor spaces, and getting them all dressed up and ready for this spring and summer. Some are small decorating and DIY ideas, and others are complete makeovers, so there is a little something for everyone. 

First up is this super cozy porch swing from Craftivity Designs, it looks ready for those cool spring evenings sitting outside relaxing.

You know I like to keep the decor inside my home fairly neutral, but I think outdoor spaces are the perfect place to let loose with bright fun colors, and this deck from Marty's Musings, did just that!

Seating is always a priority for outdoor spaces, but sometimes it can be expensive, depending on your needs. Remodelaholic built this awesome bench for their deck that provides tons of seating, and looks great too!

Blue i Style has a small yard and patio area, but it is big on style and function! I love how there are multiple areas in this space, and they all go together so perfectly!

This right here makes me want a covered porch so bad! Rambling Renovators opted for a bold black and white color scheme, and it looks so perfectly cozy and welcoming!

I'm going to squeeze in my personal favorite entertaining space, which is the new fire pit area off of out patio that we created last year. It's so nice to have a little spot outside to enjoy cool nights around the fire!
