You're A Star! Teacher Appreciation Gift
Teacher Appreciation Week is this week, and while we try to show our appreciation throughout the entire school year, I like to do a little extra this week. I don't know how teachers do it honestly, the days that I am at the school to help with parties and field trips I am completely overwhelmed with all the noise and activity. (I would be requesting a bottle of gin for teacher appreciation week, if I were a teacher!)
This year the teachers all filled out little questionnaires with their favorite things, and that was a major help in deciding what specific items to pick up for their goodie boxes.
I was happy to see that my go-to teacher gifts of fun pens, notepads and post-its, chocolate and gifts cards were all things that the teachers actually wanted! I love office supplies so shopping for fun pens and paper is always a good idea. It was nice to pick out candy that was the teacher's favorites treats instead of just guessing.
Target had these super cute little star boxes that were the perfect size to hold everything, and they are sturdy enough that the kids won't destroy them before they get to the teacher's desk.
I even made this fun little You're A Star! printable that you can print and have your child sign and attach to their teacher's gift. I didn't get a chance to print and use it this year because my printer conveniently ran out of ink and I haven't had time to replace it!
Don't forget your printable so you can let your child's teacher know they are a start!
