Beautiful Centerpieces from Supermarket Flowers
I just wanted to pop in quick this afternoon and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow!
This morning I went out to pick up last minute items and decided that fresh flowers were going to be a must have. We are expecting rain/sleet/snow tomorrow, so flowers will be a bright addition to the upcoming gloomy weather.
I have to share with you how easy it is to turn supermarket flowers in fantastic floral arrangements and centerpieces. I picked up two bunches of flowers for a total of $20, and I was able to make 3 very different Thanksgiving centerpieces with all of them!
The first thing I do is separate all the flowers by type so I can see exactly what I am working with. Then I decide which flowers I want to use together, trim up the stems, and start arranging. I used jars and some super cute dollar spot buckets to hold the flowers (I put clear plastic cups in the buckets to hold water) .
Here is where it all began:
And here are the 3 very different looks I created.
Look #1: Simple
Look #2: Rustic
Look #3: Elegant
Supermarket flowers are a perfect and inexpensive way to add a beautiful touch to your home. All you need are a few simple jars or vases and a little creativity, the possibilities are endless! Tell in the comments below, which look is your favorite?
This is such a great idea! I love fresh floral centerpieces. Thank you so much for sharing and linking up with us over at the Welcome Home Wednesdays Link Party!
