Guest Post with Meredith from Arts & Classy

I am super excited today to have Meredith from Arts & Classy sharing some of the great "On A Budget" home decor finds she found on a recent shopping trip to Ross. Meredith loves sharing ways you can add your personal touch to your space on a budget on her blog. When you are done checking out what great finds she shared here, be sure to go over to Arts & Classy where I am guest blogging about a little project I completed recently.

Hello One Mile Home Style Readers!!

I am so excited to get this opportunity to guest blog on Stephanie’s blog!

My blog Arts and Classy, I am very much about budget decorating. I am a working girl on a strict budget, but love to surround myself with beautiful unique pieces. So I thought I would try to show you all that you really can find well made beautiful furniture and décor for reasonable prices. It just takes a little hunting and knowing the best places to go.

Ross is one of my favorites, next to antique store and flea markets. I always find something in there for my home that will look beautiful. (FUN FACT – shopping for conditioner, shampoo, lotion, and anti-aging cream are so much better than going to CVS or Walgreens.) You find better products and super discounted rates. I think the same applies to TJMaxx, Marshall’s, and Nordstrom Rack.

I wanted to share my recent finds with you to prove that you can get lucky there.

First and Second FIND!

2 different upholstered accent chairs at the same proce… $89.00 what a great deal!

Third Furniture Find!

This beautiful cabinet would work wonderfully as a bar, or an entryway cabinet. I love the metal fleur de leis on the façade!

Fourth Furniture Find!

I was so so in love with this tufted accent chair. I kind of have a thing for tufted furniture. It just looks so regal, high-end and classy. And at $99.99 it is a wonderful deal in comparison to $200 normally.

Fifth Furniture Find!
This metal and mirrored side table reminds me of something from Z Gallerie, but at a much more affordable price. $39.99 is a steal for this table.

Decorative Finds!!
Home Décor can be a challenge and granted I am normally into making and/or transforming all décor in my household to make it unique and cost effective. BUT… I loved this memo board and thought it would look great in my office/art studio. SOOOO…. I bought it at $19.99. It came framed and I love the fabric!

The Parisian photo wrapped on canvas would make a stunning piece in anyone’s home. I love the black and white with the stunning Eiffel tower in gold to make it pop! Who can say they bought a 36”x48” piece of art for $19.99? That is a steal even for a duplicate. I see art at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for much more, and it is semi the same concept… duplicates.

This decorative mirror called to me because of all the beautiful colors!! I thought it would look beautiful in someone’s entryway. Or perhaps a great wall collage could be created with this type of mirror incorporated into it. Its bright and fun and I at $39.99 it could be yours. :)

I hope to be able to share more ideas and diy projects with you the future. Please feel free to check out my blog and follow me. Thank you Stephanie for partnering with me on this. I hope everyone finds this article insightful and it inspires to get out there and hunt for some great deals.  Best Wishes!

Best,

Meredith
