Stitch Fix Kids - Back to School Edition

You all know how much I have been loving my Stitch Fixes, but did you know that they are now offering fixes for kids?! I signed up both boys as soon as I saw they were available, and the timing just happened to be perfect for back to school. Getting clothes for the boys shipped right to the house for them to try on and avoiding dragging them to the stores to shop? YES PLEASE!

Admittedly, my boys (like most, I assume) don't really care too much for clothes shopping. They have opinions on what they will not wear, but taking them shopping and getting them to pick out things they will wear, is not on their list of fun things to do. I filled out their Stitch Fix Kids profiles according to their individual styles, likes and dislikes, and their sizes, and then we waited. Both boys were excited to see what was sent to them, it was like Christmas around here when the boxes arrived! Clothes shopping was actually exciting!

This post is not sponsored by Stitch Fix, everything we choose to keep, I bought myself, however it does contain affiliate links for your convenience, you can read my full disclosure here.

Each boy received 10 items in their boxes, which ranged in price from $12 to $38. In the end, they each ended up keeping 6 items. Almost everything fit perfectly (one item was too small, and one was too big), and considering these were their first fixes, it really matched their styles pretty well too. When all was said and done, I spent just over $100 on each one of them, and they now have some fun new additions to their back to school wardrobes. And they got to try everything on in the comforts of home.

Final verdict? Definitely worth trying out! The boys were very happy with the clothing they received, and I think the prices and quality are great. I think we will order another box for them eventually since they are pretty set for school clothes right now, but this is a great option to make shopping a little easier.

Are you new to Stitch Fix Kids?

If so, here's what you need to know. Stitch Fix Kids is a subscription service that sends you 8-12 pieces of clothing and accessories that your kids can try on in the comfort of home (sizes 2T-14). You can request a box every 2-3 weeks, monthly, every other month, or every 3 months, and you can stop your subscription at any time. (I have chosen to only request fixes when they are needing new school clothes, so maybe twice a year) Customers are charged a $20 styling fee, which is then applied to any items you order, so it really benefits you to at least keep one item. Want to give it a try?  Click here to place your first order! They also send you a prepaid bag so you can easily send back any items you don't want to keep, so easy! And if you love everything they send, you can get a 25% discount if you decide to keep it all!

    1. One more thing. We decided we are going to do boxes quarterly for Hadley! One each season seemed justifiable as she grows. :)
