Ready to see how simple it is to add a grommet top to your new DIY curtains? First you will want to decide on placement; I measured down 3 inches from the top seam, and then started the grommet placement 3 inches in from the side seam. I choose to space mine 7.5 inches apart, and made a pencil mark at each point. Then I centered the template that was included in the grommet kit over each mark, and traced the circle.

You have 2 different sections to each grommet, one with a flat backside, and one with a spiked backside. Place the half with the flat backside on one side of the cut-out circle.
