Irish Blessing Stamped Paper Garland
"May you always be blessed
with walls for the wind,
a roof for the rain,
a warm cup of tea by the fire,
those you love near you
laughter to cheer you,
and all that your heart might desire."
-Irish Blessing
Now that all of the holiday decor is put away, and we are scarf deep into winter, I'm trying to really up the cozy factor and make our home feel warm and welcoming. And this Irish Blessing just gives me that warm and cozy feeling.

With my constant need to be moving things around, and switch up decor from one room to another, I had a corner in the dining room that needed a little love. I moved my flea market rolling cart over, and added a vintage printer's tray, then I needed to add a simple, personalized touch. This DIY Irish Blessing stamped paper garland was just what this spot needed!
Here is what you will need to make your own stamped paper garland:
Scrapbook paper
Scissors
Alphabet Stamps (similar to mine)
To get started, I created a template of the banner shape I wanted, and then traced it onto a piece of scrapbook paper. Then I cut out the 7 individual banner pieces.
Using the alphabet stamps and a black ink pad, I stamped out the blessing onto the cut out pieces.
Here is my big tip with this, don't try to make this perfect. Take your time, and just have fun, if you are busy worrying about the spacing being perfect and the lines being straight, you take the fun out of it. The imperfectness adds to the charm and vintage feel we are going for here.
Punch holes in the top and string your twine through.
Then find the perfect new home for your Irish Blessing stamped paper garland! I love the vintage feel, and what could be more perfect than a stamped garland on a vintage printer's tray?! It was meant to be, right?
I love this so very much!
