Month In Review - April

Wow! We are already a full week into May, and I'm just now getting this April recap put together. There was a lot of project planning going on last month, and I can't wait to start sharing them with you later on in May. 

Just in case you missed it, here is what went on around here in April:

After sharing my Home Sweet Home art, I shared my super easy DIY for making colorful wood stain for small projects.

Making mis-matched furniture look put together and cohesive isn't hard, and adding little finishing touches can really make old furniture shine.

I decided to put some of my craft supplies to good use and created painted book page decor, that is the perfect vintage feeder (or basket) filler. 

This month I also started a series titled "Books I Wish I Had Time to Read". Each month I will share a few books that are either collecting dust on my nightstand, or have been on my "to read" list for far too long. I would love to hear what you wish you were reading right now! 

We also had teacher appreciation gifts on our minds with Teacher Appreciation Week and the end of the school year sneaking up on us. This was a round-up of teacher appreciation gifts for anytime of year.
