Month In Review - August

Another month down! The kids are back in school, summer is coming to an end and fall is in the air! And here we are with the August Month in Review, let's see what happened around here last month.

Since the boys went back to school this month, I shared a few of my tips for getting your home organized for back to school.

One of those organizing tips was creating a drop zone for backpacks, this easy DIY was created with barn wood and ceramic knobs.

I got a jumpstart on our basement family room update by turning an old office credenza into a new entertainment center, all it needed was a fresh coat of paint, and it is good as new.

You can't show teachers how much you appreciate them often enough, so we started the school year off with simple back to school teacher gifts, and I shared the free printable too, so you can make a gift of your own!

I wrapped up the month by white washing our outdoor spool table. It was such a simple update, and it gave the table a nice refreshed look.

I feel like I got a lot done this month, but now that fall is knocking on our door, I can't wait to break out the fall decor and start enjoying the cooler weather! Happy September everyone!
