Super Easy Custom Candy Jar
Is there a candy lover in your life? Or, maybe just someone who would appreciate a sweet little gift? These personalized candy jars are so easy, and are a perfect little gift for any occasion.
Glass Etching Cream (I used Armour Etch)
Paint Brush
Painter's Tape
Scrapbook Letter Stickers
Candy of your choice
The first thing I did was tape off the top and bottom sections of the jar, making a wide stripe around the middle of the jar, just tall enough to fit my letter.
Then, I applied a nice even coat of the the glass etching cream to the entire stripe, being sure to fully cover the letter as well. Once it set for the allotted time, I rinsed it in cool water and peeled off the tape and sticker to reveal my custom etching. (Side note: Please read the instructions for the etching cream carefully before you use it, you don't want to get it on your skin, or anything you don't want etched for that matter.)
Ta-da! I made sure to rinse out the inside good, filled it to the top with M&Ms and gave it away to a very deserving co-worker.
This would be a perfect teacher, co-worker, best friend gift! And the possibilities are endless; you could do their name, monogram, or even just a simple pattern of stripes or polka dots! Who in your life would love to receive a little gift like this?
