Tomato Cage Christmas Tree

First up on the list of Christmas fun that I am going to flood you with this entire month: Tomato Cage Christmas Trees.

This was a super quick and super easy project that can add a nice holiday touch to your outdoor spaces. This is one of a few that we are making to light up our front entry and flower bed.

The first thing you need to do is gather a few wire tomato cages. Grab one and flip it upside down. Then gently bend the legs towards each other until they form a point. Don't worry if it doesn't look very pretty at this point.

For this tree, I wrapped the tomato cage with a strand of pre-lit garland. For the additional trees we are putting the flower bed, we are just wrapping the cages with a couple of strands of mini lights.

And here it is all lit up! (BTW it was all of 18 degrees out when I was trying to get a non-blurry picture, the sacrifices I make for this blog...I kid, I kid) I really like how this came out. It is a perfect little addition to the front entry.

Stay tuned as we venture inside next week for more holiday decorating and a living room update! So tell me, do you decorate your outdoor spaces for the holidays?
