Love the Home You Have {Book Review} | One Mile Home Style

I am so excited to share this book with all of you today!! I really should have shared this awhile ago, but better late than never, right?

Love the Home You Have was written by Melissa Michaels of The Inspired Room blog, and it is life changing! I am totally not saying that to be dramatic, it really is! I have recently had the revelation that decorating your home is not something you should be trying to do as fast as possible, it takes time to really make your house a home.

As I read more and more, I found myself nodding my head in agreement to the points Melissa was making. Decorating you home is about so much more than just the items that are within the walls of your home. It's about making your home work for you and your family, and not getting caught up in the worry of what others may think, or trying to achieve that "magazine perfect" space that you know can't look that perfect 24/7.

What makes Love the Home You Have even better? Not only is it filled with inspiring words to encourage you to love your home, each chapter ends with questions for you to really take what you just read and apply it to your home. It all wraps up with the 31-Day Love Your Home Challenge where you are challenged to make small changes that have a big impact changing how you feel about your home. I haven't started my challenge yet, but I am so excited to get to work on it!

So, if you are feeling uninspired or overwhelmed by your home, and what you want it to be, I am highly recommending this book to you. I think it really helps give you a new perspective on your home. Instead of always noticing what you don't like about your home, you will start noticing all the things that are right with your home, and finding the things that you love about it.

Run out (or click here) and buy this book! You won't regret it!
If you buy it, come back here and tell me it gave you a whole new perspective on your home!
