Month in Review - January

I spent most of the month of January slacking off on home projects and keeping the blog updated. To say that January and the first part of February are a very busy time of year for my day job would be an understatement. I spent the last week in Orlando for work, which would explain the lack of posts and social media activity, and came back home to single digit temperatures and a foot of snow.

My mind is going in circles now that I have time to think about all the things I would like to get done around our home this coming year. Really, I feel like I can't get started on fun things around the house until mid-February, so hopefully I can stay on top of my idea to-do list and get busy sharing some fun projects that I want to get done this year.

I didn't get a lot of posts up in January, but let's take a look back at what I did:

I turned a pallet into a faux reclaimed barn wood sign.

I decided that in place of a New Year's Resolution, I would focus on a single word this year.

I shared a fun way to find your chair style, and I showed my chair style and how I give it a fun twist.

Last, but not least, I made a fun little piece of bathroom art for my boys that has a sneaky little trick to it.

Happy February! Here's to having a fun and productive month ahead!
