Holiday Decorating

I love the Christmas season. I love dragging my tree out of the basement and decorating it with ornaments collected from over the years. I love looking at all the bright and sparkling lights on the houses. And I love the excitement of the kids who can't wait to see what sorts of goodies are tucked away for them under the tree.

The extent of my holiday decorating was usually just the decorations on the tree, hanging a wreath on the front door and maybe putting out a couple of non-breakable tabletop decorations. (What can I say, I have two boys, the odds of something getting broken by a stray ball, lightsaber or wrestling match is high.) But, this year I decided to step it up a notch.

Out came my grandma's ceramic Christmas tree (I will always remember it sitting on top of her console TV, remember those?), swags of greenery, pinecones and Christmas balls of every color. Most of the rooms in the house this year have a little touch of the season, and I am loving it!

Here is a quick view of my Christmas {Home Style}. Enjoy!!
